They specialize in small to medium sized corporations, offering a complete line of corporate and personal tax services, accounting and financial consulting. They consolidate both personal and corporate services, which ensures an in-depth, concise recording of all your accounting and tax needs, no matter how large or small they may be.

They have an immediate need for an Intermediate Staff Accountant with 3+ years of experience in Public Practice.

Responsibilities

• Completion of financial statements and working paper files for assurance engagements as well as compilation engagements using Caseware and Caseview;

• Completion of corporate tax returns using Taxprep IFirm;

• Completion of personal tax returns using Taxprep;

• Knowledgeable in the filing of HST returns, Payroll, EHT and WSIB remittances

• Preparation of T4, T5, EHT, WSIB, GST/HST, T5013, and other related filings

Qualifications

• CPA designation AND/OR have been working in PUBLIC PRACTICE as an Intermediate Accountant for at least three years

• Thorough knowledge of ASPE and ASNFPO;

• Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, and TaxPrep;

• Have your own vehicle to travel within the GTA and surrounding areas;

• Excellent English written and oral communication skills to interact directly with clients
