Analyst, Asset Management
Toronto
Our client, a real estate investment and asset management firm with approximately $12.2B in assets under management, has an immediate and strategic need due to growth and success to add an Analyst, Asset Management to their team. Our client delivers stable income and attractive long-term returns through a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail and multi-family residential properties and is dedicated to providing institutional and high net worth investors with direct access to commercial real estate assets.
Ideally looking for people with 2+ years commercial real estate asset management within a real estate investment or asset management team. Specifically:
Qualifications:
University degree ideally in Business, Accounting or Finance
2+ years of related experience; real estate asset management, valuations and/or investment experience preferred
Experience with ARGUS is essential
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent financial and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and support to the Asset Management team
Prepare property valuations and assist in the calculation of investment returns, as well as regular external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements
Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects, and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis
Gather and evaluate economic and market data
Travel from time to time related to asset and market tours and meetings with management teams and partners
Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed
Salary Range: $open
